Ingredients:
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3 tbsp maple syrup
3-4 tbsp coconut oil
pinch of salt
optional water to create a more liquidy chocolate sauce
Method:
Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, and coconut oil to a double boiler.
Melt together until it forms a thick and creamy chocolate sauce and mix in the salt. Use a whisk to get the clumps out from the cocoa powder. If the sauce is too thick for your liking start by whisking in one tablespoon of water at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.
Sauce will harden in the fridge. You can store it in the fridge and remelt. Use for topping cakes or brownies, replacement for melted chocolate, freeze and cut into chunks to replace chocolate chips.
