Ingredients
For the smoothie:
2 frozen bananas sliced
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup + 1 or 2 tbsp milk of choice
For the chia pudding:
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tbsp hemp seeds (or more chia seeds)
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup milk of choice
Method:
Make the chia seed pudding the night before. In a mason jar or any cup with a lid, add in all the ingredients, close the lid and give a good shake. Allow to sit out for about 10 minutes, give another good shake, and place in the fridge overnight.
In the morning spoon the chia pudding into the bottom of a glass. Then add bananas, oats, milk, and peanut butter to a high speed blender. You may need to add 1 or 2 more tbsp of milk to get it to blend. Once that is well combined, pour about half of the smoothie on top of the chia pudding.
Add the tablespoon of cocoa powder to the blender and blend until well incorporated. Pour on top of the peanut butter smoothie. Top with granola, peanuts, or melted chocolate. Enjoy :)
