Chocolate Power Balls-Sugar Free

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup raw almonds

  • 1/2 cup raw walnuts

  • 5 medjool dates pitted and soaked in warm water for about 5 min

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp dairy free dark chocolate chips (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • pinch of salt

Method:

  1. In a food processor or high quality blender, pulse the almonds and walnuts to fine pieces.

  2. Add in the remaining dry ingredients and pulse until well combined.

  3. Drain the dates and throw them in along with the vanilla.

  4. Pulse for about 20-30 more seconds until the mix comes together and forms a somewhat sticky clump.

  5. Spoon out 1 tbsp size portions and roll into a ball. You can roll them in cocoa powder or chopped nuts if you like.

  6. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks. Enjoy :)
